Scallops

They were partially frozen when I got them but huge and looked gorgeous. Of course they plump them up with water so I dried them thoroughly but they started to break apart so my plan to slice them horizontally into coins flew out the window.

I sauteed them in a bit of butter with salt and pepper, and did my best, finishing with a small sprinkle of bread crumbs to dry them out. In the end I should have bought two steaks. Live and learn. It’s only time and money. Dee
