When I picked up dinner tonight I looked for Rolling Rock to toast Tim Russert and couldn’t find any. Not to worry, I’ve tasked a couple of Western NY folks to do the toast for me. D

Dee:
Genesee and Utica Club beers are now available as microbrews.

Keep it up, Mike, I was born in Utica. Our haunt in Albany was a beanery (served beans to a line of people for a nickel during the depression) where I was the only person in town allowed to make a reservation! That’s where we had staff birthday parties. We ordered corned beef and cabbage sandwiches on rye and a quart bottle of PBR. Those were the days.
Joanie did it! Thank you, friend! Dee
